The 1 in 8 Bench

 

Pink Ribbons Project has partnered with artist and designer Kelly Gale Amen to create an original piece of art furniture that recognizes both the strength and beauty of those touched by breast cancer.  The “1 in 8” Commemorative Bench is made from polished aluminum and accented with our signature pink, and features eight Pink Ribbons Project ribbons on the back.  It is the perfect way to honor or memorialize a friend or loved one, and recognizes the statistic we’re working to change:  that one in every eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer.  The bench is suitable for use indoors and out, in the home or office, or in a public park, hospital, or garden.

 

The Pink Ribbons Project bench is the latest edition from Kelly Gale Amen, whose works enrich collections housed in museums, public spaces, international foundations, and private residences.  Each piece is numbered and signed, and includes a personalized plaque (4 lines, 18 characters per line).
